La Llorona/ The Weeping Woman

This legends starts in Mexico about a woman name Maria who drowned her children to be with the man she loved, but when he rejects her she commits suicide. She isn't permitted to go to the afterlife until she finds her kids, she is known to be walking by water calling "Where are my children" for all eternity( or until she finds her off springs).
In later versions, la llorona is said to take children who disobey their parents, or wander off alone. She is seen to come out at night or late evenings from the river or oceans of Mexico.
An encounter with La Llorona happened in the summer of 1948 when a family went fishing, swimming, and in the evening had a camp out. As the 4 children went out to the forest to play hide-n-seek the adults specifically told them not to go by the river, later the parents notice how quiet it was the giggles and laughter from the little ones was gone. Fearing the worst the two mothers ran screaming for their kids. One older son came from the bushes out of breath saying a woman was talking to the other children down by the river, the both mothers whispered "La Llorona" and ran the river seeing the rest of them talking to a woman in a long white dress who seemed to be glowing. The woman would ask the children "have you seen my children?" "where are my children?" The mothers screamed for them to run away, being so afraid the family  abandoned their campsite and left home.
I feel sorry for those family an hope they are recovering from the close encounter with the Llorona.
Beware from her in Mexico O.O

The legend of Rudolph the Red-Nose reindeer, was based on a true event that happened to this man:
Robert May was a poor copywriter who lived in Chicago who wrote the story based on what his daughter said about her mother who was  being bedridden with cancer for 2 months. He thought through his whole life he been the different one and created Rudolph the Red-Nose reindeer who being different saved Santa from the fog AND Christmas. Robert wanted to show his daughter that it's good being optimistic and this book is a perfect example for any child small or big, young or older.
Rudolph the Red-Nose reindeer
Rudolph was just a typical reindeer, same as the others except the only difference was his nose. In it's place was a BIG red shiny nose, people would tease Rudolph which made him very embarrassed  even his family were ashamed of him :{  . Then on Christmas Eve, Santa who was preparing to lift off for the night a terrible fog rolled in completely diminishing  the view of the path. Santa thought there was no way he would be able to fly, his eyes fell on Rudolph's glowing nose and had the solution. So to end the story Rudolph was able to help Santa see thought the fog with Rudolph's glowing nose and save Christmas. The End
Wasn't  that a nice story, a man came up with this after a 4 year-old girl asked him why her mom isn't like the other people :) . BEING DIFFERENT IS GOOD :D

Merry Christmas everyone :)

Armadillo WITH FANGS!?!?!?!

Hello my werewolves, this next blog is something I have encounter with today at 10:50pm while coming back from a "gathering". As my family and I were parking inside the garage the alpha male(dad) screamed out "WHAT'S THAT?" we turned our heads to see what would of been an armadillo. But what has gotten me confused was that I live in a city, what's an armadillo doing in a city? As I was thinking my mother interuppted my thoughts by screaming "LOOK"  I look up and see the armadillo leaving the scene with in seconds not rolling though. Before the armadllo could escape I got a glimpse of it's face the mouth showed what would be seen as fangs!!!!! Could this be a whole new species of armadillo, or A ALIEN SENT BY IT'S LEADERS TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD(I watch too many sci fi movies). What will happen since the armadillo crawled into a backyard that is RIGHT NEXT DOOR. I just hope I survived the night knowing that thing is out there. Good night and wish me luck

The One The Only THE SLENDER MAN

Have you ever got the feeling you were being watched, well when you're done reading this that feeling will NEVER GO AWAY. The Slender Man has been "watching us" since FOREVER he's been seen in pyramids hieroglyphics and also in paintings. The Slender Man looks like a normal TALL man with a suit and shoes, but NO FACE like all you see is skin, he has long extended limbs that look like arms. He can sometimes be seen in family photos in common areas like the park, at school, even around a neighborhood. The Slender Man is known to be capturing children, luring them with how odd-looking his arms both terrifying and comforting are, just imagine you're feeling down in the dumps so the Slender Man comes in with "open arms" to COMFORT you. The Slender Man kidnappings can be viewed in a lot of states, in one investigation a man was video taping his son first day of school in the background you could see a bunch of kids around what may seem to be a tall man but is actually THE SLENDER MAN. Soon the next day the same kid was reported missing ?!?!?!?! Watch out what could be a tree could be him,her OR IT

Hola to the Chupacabra

From New Jersey to Puerto Rico, it's the Chupacabra(also known as the "goat sucker"). The Chupacabra is  described like the size of a small bear having spikes from the neck to the base of the tail, common to hunt live stock at night. The Chupacabra have been mistaken for a small coyote or a hairless dog-like creature The first reports of attacks from the Chupacabra started in March 1995, where live stock were found dead with bite marks and their blood drained. One report was 32 chickens found dead with their blood COMPLETELY drained out of their body. I speak for all goats by saying BAAAA-ETTER WATCH OUT
The Chupacabra

The Jersey Devil!!!

LEGEND NUMBER ONE:
OK so today's legend  the Jersey Devil, I'll tell the origin of this legend. One night Mother Leeds was giving birth to her unlucky 13th child, while the baby started "coming out" she screamed out 'LET  IT BE THE DEVIL' and soon or afterwards the baby transformed into the creature and flew off to the Pine Barrens(current location of Jersey Devil).  The Jersey Devil sightings been reported since the 18th century , it has been blamed for the killing of live stock and the disappearance of many animals and also pets. There were many encounters with the Jersey Devil,. Going back to how the Jersey Devil is blamed for the disapperence  of the pets, a Germen Sheperd whose throat was sliced opened, and another Germen Sheperd who was missing from it's chain was found 25 feet away from the chain and seem liked was exploded and strange tracks around the body.

Isn't that weird, the latest sighting was March 18th 2009!!! that's just 2 years ago. Just to warn you be aware as you walk alone at in the woods, you'll never know if YOU'RE NEXT
